What attracted you to Theatre B?: I have been passionate about theatre since I was a young girl, but have experienced a lack of theatre in my life for the past couple years. I took a workshop with Theatre B this summer and had a wonderful experience. I knew I wanted to continue to be involved here.
What are you most excited to experience during your internship?: I love telling stories through writing, and I think Theatre B has a lot of meaningful stories that need to be shared with the community. I’m excited to help tell these stories and strengthen my writing skills, particularly through blogging.
Activities outside of Theatre B: I am the variety editor of Concordia’s campus newspaper, The Concordian. I am a member of my campus’ speech team and public relations club. I also volunteer for a student organization called Girls in Real Life, which has established an after-school program for middle school girls that focuses on healthy living.
Hobbies: I love to act, write and dance. I also love to read, and watch films, especially documentaries.
A unique characteristic of yourself: Whenever I see an inspirational quotation I enjoy, I make sure to record it. This happens quite frequently, and I refer to them all the time.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?: I hope to spend a year abroad after I graduate. From there, I have absolutely no idea. Hopefully writing, acting, or creating videos – or all of the above.
